What if I were to

What if I were able to go back in time and change my past? All the things that I know now that I could have done than could change my life dramatically but would I be any happier than I am now. I could have invested my money in something besides drugs and alcohol and made lots of money but then I would not be where I am today because of those changes. I have been through a lot in my life but I am not sure I would want to go back in time and make any changes. I think God has a master plan for us all and we have to travel down those dark and dreary roads for a reason. I am not saying that those are the choices that we have to make but he gives us the opportunity to make those choices for us to decide. I am not proud of allot of those choices that I have made but I would probably not be here today where I am if I did not make the decisions I made in my life. I am very happy with my life today having a beautiful loving wife with three wonderful kids. I have came along way from where I was heading in my life and I have to believe that it was all do to the decisions I was able to make with the grace of God. I was going down a pretty dark street at one time until I came to a fork in the road where one way was still a dark and dreary street and the other was lit up with street lights. I am truly grateful for that fork in the road and that I was able to get my head up and see the light.
