Using the words College student, crumpled, paper, train and laptop Once I was going on a trip with another college student that I went to school with and we were trying to decide where we wanted to go. I always wanted to take a trip across the country in an motor home but my friend reminded me that we only had two weeks so we broke out a piece of paper and started to write down some ideas of where we would like to travel. My friend started with traveling to other countries like Egypt to see the pyramids, Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, China to see the Great Wall and South America to float on the Amazon River. I had to remind my friend that we didn't really have that much money and that traveling out of the country might be better for longer trips. So he crumpled up the piece of paper he was writing on and got out the laptop to see what was more convenient for our means. As he started to browse through the computer he came up with some things that we could probably afford like taking a trip to the Grand Canyon, going to the East Coast to see the ocean and visit New York, and going to Florida to Disneyland. I told my friend that all that stuff sound like it would be a lot of fun but that whatever we we would have to take a train as I do not like to fly. So as we live here in Missouri we decided to take a train trip to California, and travel up and down the coast from San Diego to San Francisco hitting the beaches along the way as we both love to surf and you just cannot do that much surfing in Missouri. So that was what we did for our two week vacation.
