EASTER GREETINGS
Easter is always a great time to get together with the family; although the kids always seem to get the best of it with the Easter Bunny. While it is not all about getting candy and goodies that is all the kids seem to care about for the time being. It's more about what Jesus had done for us. We had a pretty wonderful Easter this year despite the fact that we had lost a loved one. My brother in-laws mother had passed away the week before so my sister and her family had to come out here from San Diego, California to make the funeral arrangements as he was her last living relative and left everything in his control as her husband has been ill and in a convelesant home. My brother who lives here also had his daughter out here for a visit from San Diego at the same time and we all got together for Easter as a family for the first time in at least 4 years. We had my brother his wife and their 6 kids, my sister her husband and 2 kids, my mom and my wife and I and our 3 kids all together. With our mom living here also it was the perfect opportunity for a really nice family photo. I am not sure how everything works out like it does but I am sure that there was someone else's hand in how this all played out. We went to church the night before Easter and the church put on a fabulous laser show that was really wonderful. The kids all had a wonderful time together, as they don't get to see each other much, but it's just too bad that a loss of someone is just about the only thing that can really bring a family together.
