Today is Saturday and I am home with the kids. Jake has a friend coming over today, he is so excited, he is 6 and doesn't have very many boys his age that live by us. His sister is 9 and there are a lot of girls her age that do live around us that she gets to play with, so having a boy that Jake gets to play with is a big thing for him. It's a beautiful day today the sun is shining and it doesn't look like it will be to cold today. Jake cannot wait for his friend to come over he is already dressed and wants to go pick up his friend. He doesn't understand that you have to make plans for friends to come over he thinks you should just be able to have them over at anytime he wants, which would be alright except his friend doesn't live next door. So we are learning that we have to plan for friends to come over which is hard for a 6 year old. We are so glad he is making friends now that he is in kindergarten he has been wanting to have some friends his age that are boy come over for a long time.
